Well, it’s not quite data visualization, or journalism. Every now and then (see gay marriage), I editorialize. Today is one of those days. Because yesterday, many Bolivians and supporters from around Latin America and other countries rallied around the cause of Bolivia’s access to the sea. Below is a Storify that I quickly put together to give you a sense of what the campaign was about. I was born in Bolivia and have seen firsthand the poverty and hardship that many in this small, landlocked country endure. As @YeseniaR_94 says below, “I can’t say that #Bolivia regaining access to the sea will solve all its problems, but it’s a start.” I guess that I feel the same way.
